ORIMS is the largest RIMS Chapter in Canada
Incorporated in 1960 it has over 336 corporate and 290 Associate members. The Chapter strives to be one of the preeminent chapters in all of RIMS through its chapter leading newsletter the PULSE and regular professional development activities. It holds regular social functions such as the annual golf tournament and December seasonal luncheon that allow chapter members and our industry partners the unique opportunity to network and establish strong personal, as well as, business relationships.

Mission Statement
To promote and advance excellence in risk and insurance management by:
- Promoting the discipline of risk management and insurance and enhancing the image of the professional risk manager.
- Promoting the educational and professional development of risk managers as well as others within the risk and insurance management communities.
- Influencing legislation and regulation at the federal and provincial levels of government for the benefit of its members.
